It is difficult to pinpoint the exact age as there is not much history available online. One of the portraits however has the date ‘1906’ scribbled on the back. First things first, we will invite you in for a no-obligation consultation (we also offer remote consultations, this can be via zoom or simply email) where we can assess the condition of your dolls house and the type of work it needs. You might be looking for some small repairs or a complete renovation. Not sure where to start? That’s fine! We can come up with a design for you based on a preferred theme or style, and take it from there. There is always room to tweak and change designs along the way too. What if I have a dolls house kit? You can bring your kit to us and we can build it for you, ready for you to decorate, or we can decorate it ready for you to ‘‘move in’’ and enjoy. Don’t have a kit yet? Time frames for each restoration will vary as each dolls house is unique and has its own requirements. Projects can take from a few weeks to a few months depending on the nature of the design/restoration, and size of the house. This will be discussed with you at your consultation. Ok.. what will it cost? We won’t sugarcoat it, specialist work like this can become expensive.
